How to assemble your fantasy football team for Gameweek 15 of the Premier League? By now, the lines have been drawn. We have a good inclination of the teams fighting for Champions League spots, and those avoiding relegation.
With a view on stats and fixtures, here are the players to look out for in EPL Gameweek 15.
Joao Cancelo (Manchester City)
Cancelo was one of Pep Guardiola’s personal projects. The extra focus has paid off in a great way. Cancelo has been in superb form. Watford may have snuck a victory against City’s Manchester rivals a couple of weeks ago. But, how well will they do against Cancelo, one of the top marauding wing-backs in the game?
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
It’s difficult not to include Mohamed Salah on such a list. No other player has been as consistent in the Premier League during the last 12 months. Liverpool takes on an unexciting Wolves side. And, Salah, usually takes his chances in matches like this.
Raphinha (Leeds)
Raphinha was part of Marcelo Bielsa’s bid to move Leeds to a higher football echelon. The plan is starting to come to fruition. Raphinha is one of the most attack-minded players in the league. Against Brentford, he can play a starring role.
David De Gea (Manchester United)
Ralf Rangnick is Manchester United’s new manager. In his first press conference, he singled out the team’s defense as an area that needs improvement. This is true. However, David De Gea has been making superb saves this week. These performances echo his glory days. Expect the additional confidence to be useful as the Red Devils take on Crystal Palace.
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)
Watkins has shown both his potential and his limitations in the past year. He’s, no doubt, a good Premier League forward. It’s exactly what Leicester has had a tough time facing this season. With a view to impress new manager Steven Gerrard, we back Watkins to play a starting role in Aston Villa’s clash against Leicester.
