Christian Pulisic, it is safe to say, is the star of arguably the most promising generation of footballers that the U.S.A. has ever had. This article was originally written in 2022. Christian Pulisic was a wonderkid. There’s no denying this fact. His early performances for Borussia Dortmund showed he possessed the skill and ambition to one day become a Ballon d’Or contender.
Pulisic is also an American. The fact that he made his debut in Europe stands out. So did the swiftness with which he captured the public’s attention. By 2019, Chelsea was willing to pay £58 million to secure his signature.
What Pulisic’s Were Like in 2022
As a Chelsea player, Christian Pulisic is already a winner of the UEFA Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup. However, while his potential is undeniable, he has yet to reach the dizzying heights that many predicted for him.
